Through the instant petition, the petitioners seek anticipatory bail in case FIR No.0116 dated 24.07.2020 (Annexure P-1) registered under Sections 307, 323, 341, 324, 325, 148, 149, 120-B, 506 and 427 of Indian Penal Code, 1860 at Police Station Sadar Barnala, District Barnala. Learned State counsel, on instructions from SI Lakhwinder Singh submits that the petitioners have joined investigation and are no longer required for custodial interrogation.
In view of the above facts, but without commenting on the merits of the case, the present petition is allowed and the order dated 18.08.2020 granting interim bail to the petitioners is made absolute, subject to the conditions laid down in Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
