***** Rajan Gupta, J. (Oral) This is a petition filed under Section 439 Cr.P.C. seeking regular bail in a case registered against the petitioner vide FIR No.8 dated 21.01.2016 under Sections 21/61/85 of NDPS Act, at Police Station Makhu, District Ferozepur, Punjab.

Petitioner is incarcerated since last two years. He seeks bail on this ground. Learned State counsel, on instructions from ASI Sukhdeep Singh, submits that prosecution shall endeavour to conclude its evidence at the earliest.

In view of the above, present petition is dismissed at this stage. However, petitioner would be at liberty to file afresh, in case, trial does not make any headway.
