Amandeep Singh @ Aman has filed this petition under Section 438 Cr.P.C. for grant of anticipatory bail in case FIR No.163 dated 03.11.2016, registered at Police Station Maqsudan, District Jalandhar, under Sections 323, 324, 451, 326 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code. I have heard learned counsel for the petitioner and have gone through the record.

From the record, I find that the present petitioner has been named in the FIR. He has been stated to be armed with kirpan and caused grievous injury on the head of the complainant. Keeping in view the facts and circumstances of the present case and in view of the fact that the petitioner is the main accused and he is required for custodial interrogation, I do not find it a fit case where the Parveen Kumar 2017.01.02 12:57 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document.
