The petitioner seeks grant of anticipatory bail in a case registered vide FIR No.8, dated 20.1.2020, Police Station Kalka, District Panchkula, under Section 174-A IPC.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in fact the matter arises out FIR No. 165, dated 31.10.2017, Police Station Kalka, Panchkula, under Section 406 and 420 IPC, which has now been compromised.

Learned State counsel has informed that pursuant to interim directions issued by this Court on 18.9.2020, the petitioner has since joined investigation.

In view of the aforestated position, the petition is hereby accepted and interim directions issued vide order dated 18.9.2020 are made absolute subject to the condition that the petitioner shall appear and join investigation as and when called upon to do so and cooperate with the Investigating Officer and shall abide by the conditions as provided under Section 438 (2) Cr.P.C.
