In the instant civil writ petition under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India, prayer has been made for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing official respondents, to consider, interpret the Service Rules i.e. Punjab Civil Services (General and Common Conditions of Services) Rules 1994 dated 04.05.1994; Punjab State Elementary Education (Teaching Cadre) Group C Service, 2018 dated 21.05.2018 and Punjab Educational (Teaching Cadre) Group C Service Rules, 2018 dated 21.05.2018 (Annexures P-1, P-4 and P-5, respectively), in correct perspective and strictly comply with the same in order to finalize the seniority of Junior Basic Teachers/Elementary Trained Teachers; Head RISHU KATARIA 2020.08.17 15:06 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

Learned counsel for the petitioner contends that the purpose of instant writ petition would be achieved, if, respondents are directed to decide representation dated 31.07.2020 (Annexure P-7), moved by the petitioner.

In view of the above, instant civil writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents to look into the matter and decide representation Annexure P-7, moved by the petitioner, in accordance with law, by passing a speaking order and after affording an opportunity of hearing to him, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order. The instant writ petition be also made as part and parcel of the said representation.
