Prayer in this petition is for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioners in FIR No.300 dated 07.10.2015 under Sections 323/354/354D/379/ 356 IPC (Sections 325/397/34 IPC were added subsequently), registered at Police Station Sector 31, Chandigarh.
The petitioners were initially afforded the concession of bail in the aforesaid FIR registered under Sections 323/354/354D/379/356 IPC. Final report under Section 173 Cr.P.C. was presented for the offences punishable under Sections 325/354/354D/397/34 IPC.

CRM No.M-45991 of 2017 -2the petitioners have appeared before the learned trial court and admitted to interim bail pursuant to order dated 06.12.2017 passed by this Court. It is verified that the petitioners are not involved in any other criminal case. There are no allegations on behalf of the State that the petitioners are likely to abscond or that they are likely to dissuade the witnesses from deposing true facts before the Court, if released on bail. Keeping in view the facts and circumstances as above but without commenting upon or expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this petition is allowed. Consequently, interim bail afforded to the petitioners be made absolute subject to their furnishing fresh bail bonds and surety to the satisfaction of the learned trial court.
It is clarified that none of the observations made hereinabove shall be construed to be a reflection on the merits of the case. The same are solely confined for the purpose of decision of the present petition. ( LISA GILL ) February 14 , 2018.
