(ORAL) Prayer in the instant petition under Section 438 Cr.P.C. has been made for grant of anticipatory bail to petitioner Jeet Kaur @ Jeeto @ Jito Kaur in case FIR No.218 dated 17.08.2012 registered under Section 420 IPC at Police Station Nakodar, District Jalandhar City. Learned counsel for the petitioner contends that in the aforesaid FIR, petitioner was granted bail by the trial Court. She was regularly attending the Court. In August, 2016 petitioner left for Canada for her treatment and absented from the Court. Thus, she has been declared proclaimed offender by the trial Court vide order dated 19.08.2017.

Without commenting on the merits of the case, present petition is disposed of with a direction to the petitioner to appear before the trial Court on or before 20.12.2017 and move application for her bail. The bail application of the petitioner shall be decided within two days. On failing of the petitioner to appear before the trial Court on or before 20.12.2017, this order shall stand automatically cancelled.
