RAJESH BHARDWAJ, J.(ORAL) Instant writ petition has been filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of writ in the nature of mandamus directing the official respondents to enter mutation in the name of the petitioner in the record in respect of land Hadbast No.378, Khasra No.18 (4-3), measuring 0-13 biswe situated at village Badarpur, District Rupnagar, Punjab. It is also prayed that respondents No.2 and 3 be directed to decide the representation of the petitioner, dated 03.03.2023, Annexure P-3, in a time-bound manner.
It has been contended by counsel for the petitioner that representation, Annexure P-3, was filed on 03.03.2023 but no decision has been taken on the same till date.
Notice of motion to official respondents only at this stage. On asking of the Court, Ms.Akshita Chauhan, DAG, Punjab, who is present in Court, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents/State. CWP-12424-2023 -2the present petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2, i.e. the Deputy Commissioner, District SAS Nagar, Mohali, to decide the representation, dated 03.03.2023, Annexure P-3 expeditiously in accordance with law preferably within one month from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order.
