**** SANDEEP MOUDGIL, J. (ORAL) The present petition has been filed under Section 482 Cr. P.C. seeking quashing of DDR/General Diary Details No.21 dated 13.03.2021 under Section 323 of IPC in FIR No.0038 dated 09.03.2021 under Sections 323, 324, 148 and 149 of IPC registered at Police Station Khatu, District Amritsar, (Annexure P-1) on the ground of compromise dated 12.04.2021 (Annexure P-2).

The directions were issued to the petitioners vide order dated 08.09.2021, to get their statements recorded before the Illaqa Magistrate/trial Court on 30.09.2021 but no statement was recorded and thereafter even on 15.11.2022 there was no representation on behalf of the petitioners. Similar was the position on 19.12.2022 and nobody had appeared on behalf of the petitioners, neither on behalf of respondent-complainant today. The report dated 29.11.2021, received from Judicial Magistrate First Class, Amritsar, wherein it is mentioned that no statements has been recorded with regard to the compromise having entered into between the parties, despite last opportunity granted on the last date of hearing. CRM-M-27878-2021 -2This Court is fully convinced that the parties are not interested to pursue the instant petition for the reasons best known to them. Hence, the present petition is dismissed for non-prosecution.
