(ORAL) In the present petition the grievance which is being raised is that an FIR No.210 dated 21.12.2020, registered under Sections 304-A, 279 and 427 IPC, at Police Station Sarai Amant Khan, District Tarn Taran is not being investigated properly and hence, a direction is sought to the official respondents to investigate the said FIR and take it to a logical end.

Short reply by way of affidavit has been filed on behalf of respondents No.1 to 4 today in the Court and the same is taken on record. In the said reply, the status of the trial has been given. CRM-M-27634-2021 -2efforts have been put by the police now, but a direction be issued to the respondents to complete the investigation in a time bound manner. Learned State counsel submits that the investigation is being carried out and will be carried out in accordance with law and all efforts will be undertaken to complete the investigation within a period of next three months.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that keeping in view the said statement of learned State counsel, no grievance of the petitioner survives, at this stage and hence, the present petition may be disposed of as having been not pressed.
