Present petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. for protecting the life and liberty of the petitioner, who is a victim of blackmailing at the hands of respondent No.3 in collusion with the police officials. Though, prayer was made for registration of FIR against the accused but learned counsel for the petitioner restricted his prayer for providing protection to the petitioner and not for registration of FIR.

In view of the prayer made by learned counsel for the petitioner, the present petition is dismissed as withdrawn for registration of the FIR. However, respondents No. 1 & 2 are directed to take into consideration the legal notice (Annexure P2), issued by the petitioner to respondent No.3 and take required action, if any, in accordance with law.
