(Oral) This is petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. for quashing of order dated 22.03.2022 (Annexure P-5) in which proclamation under Section 82 Cr.P.C. has been effected against the petitioner and order dated 06.08.2021 (Annexure P-4) in which non-bailable warrants were issued against the petitioner in case bearing FIR No.153 dated 02.10.2019 under Section 22-61-85 of NDPS Act (Section 29 of NDPS Act added later on), Police Station City Batala, qua the petitioner. After arguing for sometime and after seeing that this Court is not inclined to interfere in the matter, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission of this Court to withdraw the present GEETA RANI 2022.06.02 18:47 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document

CRM-M-24988-2022 -2petition and states that the petitioner is ready to surrender before the trial Court within a period of 10 days from today. Learned counsel for the petitioner has further made a prayer that in case, the petitioner surrenders before the trial Court within a period of 10 days from today and files an application for grant of regular bail after surrendering, the same be decided as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of ten days from the date of filing of the said application.

In view of the statement made by learned counsel for the petitioner, the present petition is dismissed as withdrawn. The petitioner is directed to surrender before the trial Court within a period of 10 days from today.

In case, after surrendering before the trial Court within a period of 10 days from today, the petitioner files an application for grant of regular bail, the trial Court is requested to decide the same as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of ten days from the date of filing of the said application.
