The aforesaid petitions shall be decided together as common issue is involved therein i.e. grant of interim compensation of 20% as required under Section 143-A of the Negotiable Instruments Act has been refused/declined by the Revisional Court.

Reliance in the present cases was placed by the learned counsel for the petitioner on the order dated 15.04.2019 passed in GJ Raja vs. Tejraj Surana, SLP (Crl.) No.3342 of 2019, Annexure P-6, stating that the issue involved in the present cases is pending before Hon'ble The Supreme Court, which as submitted by learned counsel for the respondent stands decided against the petitioner herein, vide judgment dated 30.07.2019. The relevant part of the same reads thus: "In the ultimate analysis, we hold Section 143A to be prospective in operation and that the provisions of said Section 143A can be applied or invoked only in cases where the offence under Section 138 of the act was committed after the introduction of said Section 143A in the statute book."

Faced with this, the learned counsel for the petitioner prays for withdrawal of the present petitions.
