Prayer in this petition is for grant of regular bail to the petitioner namely, Harmeet Singh @ Meeta in case FIR No.120 dated 20.9.2014, under Sections 452, 324, 323 read with Section 34 IPC (Section 326 IPC added later on), registered at Police Station Sadar, Rupnagar.

Learned counsel for the petitioner states that the petitioner has not caused injury on the vital parts of the body of injured and he is in custody for the last two months.

Learned State counsel on instructions from ASI Darshan Singh has not disputed the aforesaid facts.

In these circumstances without commenting anything on the merits of the case and keeping in view the period of incarceration suffered by the petitioner, I deem it appropriate to allow the petitioner on regular bail. Accordingly, the petitioner is ordered to be released on bail to the satisfaction of the Chief Judicial Magistrate/Duty Magistrate, Rupnagar. The petition is disposed of.
