The petitioner through instant petition under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India is seeking direction to respondents to release subsidy as per Crop Residue Management Scheme 2024. 2.

As per petition, the petitioner has imported NH BIG MODEL BALER BB 890 Plus Standard Packer and allied machines for making bales of crop residue to avoid stubble burning. He has purchased a tractor. In this way, he has spent Rs.2.6 Crores on the machinery/equipments. He has borrowed loan of Rs.2 Crores from Bank of India. He has filed representations before Deputy Commissioner, Sri Muktsar Sahib. Additional Director, Agriculture and Chief Minister but to no avail.
