HARNARESH SINGH GILL, J.(Oral) Roshani Devi petitioner present in person in Court. This petition has been filed Section 482 Cr.P.C. for issuance of directions to respondents No.2 to 6 to initiate action against respondents No.7 to 9.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is a senior citizen , aged about 64 years, who has been harassed by the private respondents; that respondent No.7, namely, Tripta, is the landlord of the petitioner and that the household articles of the petitioner are lying in the rented accommodation, so provided by the private respondents. He further submits that, though, for redressal of her grievances, the petitioner has approached Inspector General of Police, Jalandhar Range, Jalandhar, vide representation dated 14.04.2023 (Annexure P-1), which was marked to the Senior Superintendent of Police, Hoshiarpur, vide endorsement No.215-JRPC/FO dated 20.4.2023, yet the fact remains that the petitioner has not been heard till date.

CRM-M-23849-2023 (O&M) -2At this stage, learned counsel for the petitioner confines his argument to the extent that the representation dated 14.04.2023 (Annexure P-1), which was marked to the Senior Superintendent of Police, Hoshiarpur, be decided in a time bound manner.

Notice of motion to respondents No.1 to 6-State only. On the asking of this Court, Mr. Hakam Singh, AAG Punjab, accepts notice on behalf of respondents No.1 to 6-State only. He submits that he has no objection if the aforesaid limited prayer made by the learned counsel for the petitioner is allowed.

I have heard the learned counsel for the parties. This Court is conscious of the fact that the dispute between the petitioner and the private respondents seems to be a landlord-tenant dispute. The petitioner being 64 years old, is a senior citizen and has lost her father, namely, Parkash Singh. Petitioner's only daughter is married and is residing somewhere else with her husband and family. Petitioner is alone and is looking after herself.

In view of the above, the petitioner is directed to appear before the Senior Superintendent of Police, Hoshiarpur and present her entire case before him/her, for redressal of the grievances. Respondent No.4-Senior Superintendent of Police, Hosiharpur, is directed to decide the representation dated 14.04.2023 (Annexure P-1) moved by the petitioner, which was further marked to him vide endorsement No.215-JRPC/FO dated 20.04.2023, at the earliest.

Disposed of in the above terms.
