The present first petition has been filed by the petitioner under Section 438 Cr.P.C. for grant of anticipatory bail in case FIR No.23 dated 18.04.2023, registered under Sections 353, 332, 186, 148, 149 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860, at Police Station Narot Jaimal Singh, District Pathankot.

Vide order dated 16.05.2023, the petitioner was granted opportunity to join the investigation by protecting him from his arrest. 3.
Counsel for the State, on instructions from ASI Rajesh Kumar, has submitted that although, the petitioner has joined the investigation, however, he has not cooperated with the Investigating Officer. As a result, the weapon of offence has not been got recovered from the petitioner. 2023:PHHC:116975 CRM-M-23777-2023 -2case involves attack on the police personnel while they were on patrolling duty. There are even medico-legal reports showing injuries suffered by them. Therefore, custodial interrogation of the petitioner is required and the weapon of the offence is required to be recovered from the petitioner. 4.
In view of the facts and circumstances of the case, as well as, the submissions made by the State counsel, this Court does not find it appropriate to interfere in the matter, so as to grant concession of anticipatory bail to the petitioner further.
