Since, it is stated at the Bar, by the learned counsel for the petitioners, that though the Investigating Officer (IO) concerned, has, after completion of investigations into the petition FIR, filed a cancellation report, before the learned Magistrate concerned, yet the learned Magistrate concerned, has, through an appositely made order, declined to accept the cancellation report.

Therefore, the present petition asking for the quashing of the petition FIR, is not maintainable, and, it is dismissed as such. 3.
