Prayer made in the present petition is for quashing the action of the respondents in not considering and granting the petitioners pension and other post retirement benefits by treating them as regular employees. 2.

The petitioners have been appointed on part-time basis as lecturers and continued as such, without being regularised till their superannuation. Reliance is placed on para Nos.10, 16, 20, 21 and 26 to 28 of the judgment passed by Hon'ble the Supreme Court in Jaggo vs.

In view of the above and without commenting on the merits of the case, this petition is hereby disposed of with a direction to the respondents to consider and decide the claim of the petitioners, taking note of the afore-referred MOHIT 2025.04.02 12:32 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

CWP-10773-2024 (O&M) -2judgment, within a period of 6 months, which this Court has no reason to believe the authorities would not address in a just, fair and reasonable manner. Upon doing so, after notice and hearing offered to them and if found entitled, grant the benefit forthwith. Needless to say, if the orders are adverse to their interest, the same shall contain reasons and the petitioners shall be free to seek legal redress thereupon.
