Prayer in the present petition under Section 528 of BNSS is for setting aside the order dated 17.03.2023 (Annexure P-12) framing the charges against the petitioners in FIR No.94 dated 01.06.2021 (Annexure P1) under Sections 420, 379, 447, 427, 506 and 120-B of IPC, 1860 registered at Police Station Machhiwara Khanna, District Ludhiana. 2.

The matter stands settled between the parties before the Mediation and Conciliation Centre of this Court on 29.05.2025 and as per Clause C of Paragraph 7, the first party shall file a petition for quashing of FIR on the basis of compromise/settlement, wherein the second party will have no objection and will suffer the statement or file affidavit with regard to the compromise.

In view of above, learned counsel for the petitioners does not press the present petition any further.
