On the last date, none has put in appearance on behalf of the petitioner and even today, learned counsel for the petitioner did not appear. However, learned counsel for UT, Chandigarh submits that challan stands filed and charges have been framed. Now, the next date fixed before the trial court for prosecution evidence is 06.06.2022. Since the prayer in the petition is seeking fair investigation and as such the present petition is not maintainable because of the police report and framing of the charges, consequently, the present petition is dismissed. Liberty reserved to the complainant to take appropriate legal steps if so advised.
