The petitioners seek quashing of FIR No.86, dated 27.6.2021 registered at Police Station Khuian Sarwar, District Fazilka, under Sections 392, 34, 120B of Indian Penal Code and Sections 25, 27, 54 and 59 of Arms Act and all subsequent proceedings emanating therefrom on the basis of a compromise stated to have been effected between the parties. 2.

Vide order dated 16.5.2023, the parties had been directed to appear before the trial Court/Illaqa Magistrate so as to get their statements recorded qua the factum of compromise.

Report of learned Judicial Magistrate 1st Class, Abohar, has been received, wherein it has been reported that joint statement of petitioners namely Gurpreet Singh @ Guri, Harmit Singh, Aman Singh, Jagdeep Singh, Pargat Pankaj Kakkar 2024.11.05 15:29 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document

CRM-M-24034-2023 (O&M) ( 2 ) Singh Sandhu, Deshraj, Gursewak Singh and also the statements of respondents No.2 & 3 namely Dharminder Singh and Gurpreet Singh have been recorded to the effect that they have compromised the matter amongst themselves.

Respondents No.2 & 3 namely Dharminder Singh and Gurpreet Singh in their statements have stated that they have no objection in case the FIR in question is quashed.

Learned Judicial Magistrate 1st Class, Abohar has specifically opined that the parties have entered into compromise voluntarily and without any undue influence.

In view of the aforesaid compromise and bearing in mind the law laid down by Full Bench of this Court in 2007(3) RCR (Crl.) 1052 Kulwinder Singh and others Vs.
