(Oral) Learned State counsel on instructions from ASI Jarnail Singh, PS City Nawanshahr has made statement that both the petitioners have made joint statement before the police, copy of which is placed on record, that there is no threat to their life and personal liberty and they do not require any police protection.

In view of the aforesaid, learned counsel for the petitioners wishes to withdraw the present petition. Allowed to do so. Dismissed as withdrawn.

However, the official respondents are directed that if any instance regarding threat to life and liberty of the petitioners is brought to their notice, they shall take necessary action immediately, as per law. ( Fateh Deep Singh ) April 11, 2016 Judge 'tiwana'
