In deference to the order dated 24.04.2015, Mr. Varinder Paul Singh, Senior Superintendent of Police, Rupnagar is present in person and filed affidavit, which is taken on record. Learned State counsel submits that because of the lapse on the part of ASI Vijay Kumar, the departmental action has been taken against him vide order dated 02.05.2015 (Annexure R-2/T). It is further submitted that the trial has ended in conviction of the petitioner on 07.05.2015.
