(ORAL) This is a petition that has been filed under Section 438 Cr.P.C. for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioners in complaint case No. 87 dated 25.04.2014 under Sections 304-B/ 120-B/ 34 IPC, titled as "Satnam Singh vs. Kulwant Singh and others" pending in the Court of JMIC, Ferozepur.

This Court was pleased to pass the following order on 22.05.2018 :- "Petitioners are stated to be the mother and grandmotherin-law of the deceased. It is further contended that the complaint has been filed after delay of over two (02) years and eight (08) months. Petitioners undertake to face trial and appear on each and every date fixed. It is informed that the husband of the deceased (co-accused) has since been afforded the concession of bail Satyawan 2018.08.27 16:50 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document High Court Chandigarh

Despite service, none appears on behalf of respondent no.2. List on 27.08.2018.

In the meanwhile, the petitioners shall appear before the learned trial Court on or before 29.05.2018. They be admitted to interim bail on their appearance to the satisfaction of the learned trial Court, till the next date of hearing in this case." Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners have appeared before the trial Court and they are facing trial. Learned counsel for the respondent-State, on instructions from the Investigating Officer confirms the factum of appearance by the petitioners before the trial Court and facing trial. Since the petitioners have appeared before the trial Court and are facing trial, the instant petition is allowed and interim order dated 22.05.2018 is hereby made absolute subject to the condition that the petitioners will not tamper with evidence or hamper the investigation; will not leave India without permission of the Court and will comply with the conditions contained in Section 438(2) Cr.P.C. 27.08.2018 (JAISHREE THAKUR) Satyawan JUDGE Whether speaking/reasoned Yes.
