(Oral) The present petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C is for issuance of direction to respondent Nos. 1 and 2 to provide protection and security to the life and limb of the petitioner being under threat of torture and harassment at the hands of private respondent Nos. 3 to 7.

The precise grievance of the petitioner is that he was married to respondent No. 3 but since last 3-4 years there was extreme marital discord between the petitioner and his wife. Petitioner and respondent No. 3 had agreed orally that they will seek divorce by mutual consent. Respondent No. 3 and her brothers are demanding that the petitioner shall transfer his land holdings which are in his name. The petitioner is working since January, 2014 with Mrs. Monica Gupta, wife of Amrish Kumar resident of H. Crl. Misc. No. M-6167 of 2015 (O&M) -2Patiala. The private respondents have initiated false complaint i.e complaint No. 4162/5-A against the petitioner and Mrs Monika Gupta at P.S Ahmedgarh, Distt. Sangrur alleging that the petitioner has gone missing and has been kidnapped/abducted/confined by her employer i.e Mrs.Monika Gupta. In this regard, a representation dated 27.12.2014 has been made by the petitioner (P-2) but no action has been taken till date.

Without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, the petition is disposed of by giving a direction to S.S.P Sangrur to look into the representation dated 27.12.2014 (P-2) and call the parties in his office for an amicable settlement.

Further a direction is also given to S.S.P Patiala to treat this petition as representation and take appropriate action in accordance with law. Since the petitioner has not been kidnapped by his employer i.e Mrs. Monica Gupta, SSP shall look into this aspect and take appropriate action in accordance with law.
