This petition has been filed under Section 482 of BNSS, 2023, seeking anticipatory bail in case FIR No.0006 dated 22.01.2025 under Sections 132, 221, 109, 190 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 registered at Police Station Chohla Sahib, District Tarn Taran. 2.

On 29.04.2025, the following order was passed:- "XX XX XX XX Learned counsel for the petitioner, inter alia, contends that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in the present case along with other co-accused for allegedly attempting to mow down a police official who had come during a raid to arrest co-accused Jaskarn Singh. While drawing the attention of this Court to the FIR annexed as Annexure P-1, learned counsel submits that the petitioner's false implication finds credence from the fact that the specific allegations of attempting to run over the police official are directed against co-accused Jaskarn MOHD YAKUB 2025.08.05 17:11 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document Punjab & Haryana High Court at Chandigarh

CRM-M-20961-2025 Singh, and the petitioner, who is the paternal aunt of the said co-accused, has merely been roped in for allegedly tearing off buttons from the complainant's uniform. Notice of motion.

On asking of the Court, Mr. H.S. Deol, Sr. DAG, Punjab, accepts notice on behalf of the respondent-State and seeks time to get necessary instructions. Adjourned to 05.08.2025.

Meanwhile, the petitioner is directed to join the investigation and appear before the investigating agency as and when called upon to do so. In the event of her arrest, she shall be admitted to interim bail on her furnishing bail bonds to the satisfaction of the Arresting/Investigating Officer. The petitioner shall abide by the terms and conditions as envisaged under Section 482(2) of the BNSS."

Learned State counsel, on instructions from SI Jassa Singh, at the very outset, informs the Court that the petitioner has joined the investigation and his custodial interrogation is not required. 4.

In view of the statement of learned State counsel, order dated 29.04.2025 is hereby made absolute. The petitioner shall abide by the terms and conditions envisaged under Section 482(2) of BNSS (erstwhile Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973). 5.

The petition stands disposed of.
