Petitioner has preferred this petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. for issuance of direction to respondent No.2 to withdraw the proceedings/investigation in the matter i.e. Rapat No.16 dated 06.01.2016 and to entrust it to a senior police official except that of Batala police as the local police i.e. Batala police, being in connivance with the accused has failed to perform its obligation and responsibility in this regard by not having undertaken the proceedings under the relevant provisions of Indian Penal Code. Learned counsel for the petitioner only prays for the relief that the representation dated 11.01.2016 (Annexure P-4), moved to the Inspector General of Police, Batala Range, Amritsar, by the petitioner be considered and he does not press the other relief asked in this petition.

In view of above, the Inspector General of Police, Batala Range, Amritsar, is directed to look into the said representation (Annexure P-4) and pass appropriate order, as per law, within two months after receiving the certified copy of this order.
