This petition has been filed seeking a direction to respondents no.2 and 3 to send a communication to Bureau of Immigration for cancellation of Look Out Circular (LOC) issued in case FIR No.26 dated 29.4.2015 under Sections 406, 498-A and 120-B IPC registered at Police Station Women Cell, Jalandhar City.

Learned State counsel has filed a status report by way of affidavit of Assistant Commissioner of Police, Crime against Women and Children, Jalandhar, on behalf of respondents no.1 to 3, which is taken on record.

Based on that, it is submitted by the learned State counsel that no Look Out Circular has been issued against the petitioner by the Security Branch, Commissionerate Jalandhar. Para 6 of the reply in this regard is as under:

That answering respondent has verified about the alleged LOC issued against petitioners from Incharge Security, ASHWANI KUMAR 2023.06.02 17:49 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document



  

    
 Commissionerate Jalandhar, and upon verification it was reported by Incharge Security, Commissionerate Jalandhar, that vide letter no. 43422 dated 24.5.2023 that no LOC has been issued against petitioners by Security Branch, Commissionerate Jalandhar. 4.

In view thereof, there is no need to issue any direction in the matter.
