Through the instant petition, the petitioners seek anticipatory bail in case FIR No.88 dated 23.10.2019 (Annexure P-1) registered under Sections 323, 324, 379, 295, 148 and 149 of Indian Penal Code, 1860, however, Section 326 of IPC was added later on, at Police Station Rangar Nangal, District Batala. Learned State counsel, on instructions from ASI Chanan Singh submits that the petitioners have joined investigation and are no longer required for custodial interrogation.

In view of the above facts, but without commenting on the merits of the case, the present petition is allowed and the order dated 14.08.2020 granting interim bail to the petitioners is made absolute, subject to the conditions laid down in Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
