(ORAL) Prayer in the instant petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. has been made for quashing FIR No. 0053 dated 31.01.2018 (Annexure P-1) registered under Section 379B read with Section 34 IPC at Police Station Civil Lines, Amritsar and all subsequent proceedings arising therefrom, on the basis of compromise dated 13.06.2018 (Annexure P-2) effected in between the parties.

Pursuant to order dated 26.10.2018 of this Court, the parties appeared before the Additional District and Sessions Judge, Amritsar, on 30.11.2018 to get their statements recorded. Learned Additional District and Sessions Judge, Amritsar, has submitted his report vide letter No. 271 dated 01.12.2018, duly forwarded by learned District and Sessions RISHU KATARIA 2019.03.12 14:22 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

CRM-M-47363-2018 -2Judge, Amritsar, vide Endst. No. 12076R dated 04.12.2018. According to the report, learned Additional District and Sessions Judge, Amritsar, is satisfied that compromise effected between the parties is with their own free will and without any threat, coercion or undue influence.

In compliance of order dated 14.01.2019, original receipts regarding deposit of costs of ` 15,000/- have also been produced in Court today. The same are taken on record. Be tagged at appropriate place. Considering the report of learned Additional District and Sessions Judge, Amritsar dated 01.12.2018 and deposit of costs as well as the fact that the compromise will bring peace and harmony in relations between the parties, aforesaid FIR No. 0053 dated 31.01.2018 (Annexure P-1) along with all subsequent proceedings arising therefrom, is quashed qua the petitioners only.
