(ORAL) Prayer in the instant petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. has been made for quashing FIR No.844 dated 30.09.2018, under Sections 323, 324, 506 and 34 IPC (section 326 IPC added lateron), Police Station Assandh, District Karnal along with all subsequent proceedings arising therefrom, on the basis of compromise.

Pursuant to order dated 26.10.2018 of this Court, the parties appeared before the trial Court on 01.12.2018 to get their statements recorded. Learned Addl. Civil Judge (Sr. Division)-cum-Sub Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Assandh (Karnal) has submitted her report vide letter bearing No.16 dated 03.12.2018 duly forwarded by learned District and Sessions Judge, Karnal, vide letter bearing No.18264 dated 03.12.2018. SONIKA 2019.02.21 10:07 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document Chandigarh According to the report, ld. Addl. Civil Judge (Sr. Division)-

CRM-M-47370 of 2018 --2-- cum-Sub Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Assandh (Karnal) is satisfied that parties have entered into the compromise voluntary and without any coercion. Therefore, the compromise is genuine. In compliance of order dated 05.02.2019, receipts regarding deposit of costs of `15,000/- have also been produced in Court today. The same are taken on record. Be tagged at appropriate place. Considering the report of learned Addl. Civil Judge (Sr. Division)-cum-Sub Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Assandh (Karnal), dated 03.12.2018 and deposit of costs as well as the fact that the compromise will bring peace and harmony in relations between the parties, aforesaid FIR No.844 dated 30.09.2018 along with all subsequent proceedings arising therefrom, is quashed qua the petitioners only. Disposed of accordingly.
