(Oral) By CRM no.30406 of 2020, advancement of the date of hearing is sought in the accompanying petition which is one seeking quashing of the FIR itself on the basis of a compromise arrived at between the parties. Pursuant to the order of this court dated 26.10.2018, a report of the learned Sub-Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Dasuya, dated 21.12.2018, is on record, stating to the effect that Bhajan Singh, respondent no.2 herein (the complainant in the FIR), recorded a statement before that court to the effect that the matter has been compromised between the parties with their free will and consent, with the statements of the accused (petitioners herein), Dalip Singh and Mandeep Singh, also having been recorded to the same effect
That being so, notice in the application seeking advancement of the date of hearing in the accompanying petition, with Mr. Randhir Singh, learned DAG, Punjab, accepting notice on behalf of the respondent State. VIKAS CHANDER 2020.12.20 10:33 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

CRM-M-47375 of 2018 (O&M) Mr. Vishal Munjal, learned counsel appearing for respondent no.2, also accepts notice on behalf of the said respondent, with him neither denying the factum of the compromise reached between the parties, nor opposing the application seeking advancement of the date of hearing. In view of the above, the application is allowed with the date of hearing in the accompanying petition advanced to today itself. CRM-M-47375 of 2018 This petition has been filed seeking quashing on the basis of a compromise arrived at between the petitioners and respondent no.2, of FIR no.138 dated 21.09.2018 (as also all other subsequent proceedings arising therefrom), registered at Police Station Dasuya District Hoshiarpur, for the alleged commission of offences punishable under Sections 355, 341, 506 and 34 of the IPC. A copy of the compromise deed has been annexed as Annexure P-2 with the petition.
