RAJESH BHARDWAJ, J.(ORAL) Petitioner has approached this Court praying for issuance of direction to respondent No.1 to entertain and decide the statutory revision bearing No.ROR-127-2023-24 as well as stay application dated 16.04.2024, Annexures P-7 and P-8, filed by the petitioner under Section 22 r/w Section 8 of the Haryana Evacuee Property (Management and Disposal) Act (for short,`the Act) and Rules, 2011, against the order dated 17.10.2023, passed by respondent No.2, Commissioner, exercising the powers of Chief Commissioner (Sales) Ambala Division, Ambala, vide which the revision filed under Section 8 of the Act. Further prayer has been made for staying the order dated 17.10.2023 till the decision of revision petition and the stay application.

It has been contended by counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner has already availed his remedy of filing revision alongwith stay MEENU 2024.05.14 12:20 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document application, which is pending adjudication for 28.08.2024 before respondent

On asking of the Court, Mr.Sumit Gupta, Additional Advocate General, Haryana, who is present in Court, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents/State and submits that the revision petition is fixed for adjudication on 22.08.2024 and the same would be heard expeditiously. After hearing counsel for the parties and in the facts and circumstances of the case, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.1, i.e. Financial Commissioner, Haryana, to take up the revision on the date fixed, i.e. 28.08.2024 and also hear the parties on stay application and decide the same expeditiously as per law. In the meantime, status quo be maintained till 28.08.2024. May 13, 2024 ( RAJESH BHARDWAJ ) meenuss JUDGE 1.
