(Oral) The present petition has been filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. for issuance of direction to respondents No.1 to 3 to take action on representation dated 17.06.2015 (Annexure P-2) made by the petitioner against respondents No.4 to 6. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is a widow as her husband died three years back. She is having three minor children. A written complaint was made by the petitioner to respondent No.2-Senior Superintendent of Police, Police District Batala stating therein that respondents No.4 and 5 tried to commit rape upon her and also levelled certain other allegations. Learned counsel further submits that in spite of the fact that a cognizable offence is made out against the accused, no action has NEETU RANI 2016.02.17 10:43 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document Chandigarh

Criminal Misc. No. M-5187 of 2016 been taken and no FIR has been registered. Learned counsel also submits that the petitioner would be satisfied in case, directions are issued to respondents No.2 to consider the representation (Annexure P-2) moved by her.

Without commenting anything on the merits of the case and keeping in view the submissions made by learned counsel for the petitioner and on perusal of MLR (Annexure P-1) and representation (Annexure P-2), the present petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2 to consider the representation moved by the petitioner and take necessary action in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.

Disposed of accordingly.
