Learned counsel for the petitioner states that both the victims and the complainant have since been examined and he does not press the petition for grant of regular bail and his only prayer is that a direction be issued to the trial Court to conclude the trial expeditiously. Of course, expeditious trial is the right of every litigant, therefore, the present petition is dismissed as withdrawn. The trial Court is directed to make earnest efforts to conclude the trial expeditiously, preferably within a period of three months from the date of receipt of copy of this order by giving short adjournments. CRM-M-28193 of 2021 counsel/complainant shall ensure the appearance of PWs in the Court on the dates so fixed. The trial Court shall not grant adjournment for recording statement of PWs except for compelling reasons which are to be recorded in writing in the interim order. Of course, the accused shall not seek for any adjournment and shall not make prayer for deferring recording of statement of any PW and then would conclude its defence evidence promptly.
