The present writ petition has been filed under Article 226/227 of the Constitution of India with a prayer for issuance of an appropriate writ in the nature of certiorari for quashing and setting aside the transfer order of the petitioner dated 08.04.2025 (Annexure P-1). Further praying for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus for allowing the petitioner to retain the present post in view of his request dated 09.04.2025 (Annexure P-5) or post him as SDO/Store Tohana in view of his representation dated 21.06.2024 (Annexure P-6) and 27.03.2025 (Annexure P-7) or alternatively allow him the earned leave preparatory to retirement to enable him to take treatment of his ailments and his daughter. Further praying for issuance of a writ in the PUNEET CHAWLA 2026.05.02 14:51 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

At the very outset, learned counsel for the respondents submits that the present writ petition has been rendered infructuous, inasmuch as the impugned order dated 08.04.2025 (Annexure P-1), which is the subject matter of challenge in the present petition, has been withdrawn vide order dated 10.06.2025. A copy of the said order has been produced before this Court and is taken on record as Mark 'X'.

In view of the aforesaid submission and the withdrawal of the impugned order, the present writ petition stands disposed of as having been rendered infructuous.
