In the instant petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C., prayer has been made for issuance of a direction to respondents No. 1 and 2 to protect the life and liberty of the petitioners at the hands of respondents No. 4 and 5 and also respondent No. 3 who is working at the instance of private respondents.

Learned counsel for the petitioner at the very outset contends that the purpose of the instant petition would be achieved, if, respondent No.2-Superintendent of Police, Rohtak, is directed to look into representation dated 30.11.2017 (Annexure P-3) moved by the petitioners and do the needful.
