This is a petition filed under Section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure seeking pre-arrest bail in a case registered against the petitioner vide FIR No. 866 dated 26.12.2013 under Sections 498A, 406, 506/34 IPC at Police Station Gurgaon Sadar, District Gurgaon.

Learned counsel for the State (on instructions from ASI Vijay Kumar, who is present in court) submits that pursuant to order dated 05.03.2014, petitioner has joined the investigation and is no longer required for custodial interrogation. In view of the above, order dated 05.03.2014 is hereby made absolute subject to the conditions as envisaged under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C.
