Prayer in the present petition is for directing the official respondents to register the FIR and to conduct the free and fair investigation regarding the unnatural death of daughter of the petitioner on 04.03.2026, when her dead body was found hanging in the rented accommodation of respondent No.4 in Phase 3B2, SAS Nagar (Mohali). 2.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that for the redressal of his grievance, petitioner has filed complaint/representation dated 13.03.2026 (Annexure P-2) before respondent No.2-Senior Superintendent of Police, SAS Nagar (Mohali), Punjab but the same has not been taken into consideration by the said respondent till date. 3.
