Rajesh Khullar and another .............Respondent CORAM: HON'BLE MR.JUSTICE JASWANT SINGH Present:- Mr.Kamal Narula,Advocate for the petitioner Jaswant Singh,J.(Oral) Prayer is for grant of anticipatory bail in complaint No.5242 dated 4.4.2012 filed by respondent no.1 under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act,1881, for a dishonoured cheque of Rs.1.50 lacs during the pendency of the trial.

The petitioner was enlarged on bail and due to his absence on 1.5.2014 he was declared a PO on 1.10.2014. Counsel for the petitioner heard.

An offer was extended for depositing some amount of the dishonoured cheque which has been declined. The petitioner has been able to stall the proceedings for almost one year and nine months by staying away from the trial.

In view of such circumstances, no case for anticipatory bail is made out.

Dismissed.
