The present contempt petition has been filed for deliberate and intentional disobedience of order dated 19.11.2025 passed by this Court in CWP-26374-2025, whereby, the writ petition was dismissed as not pressed and dismissed as withdrawn. The relevant portion of the same is reproduced as under:- "3. After arguing the case for sometime, learned counsel for the petitioner does not press the first prayer as there is a considerable delay in filing the present petition as the impuged punishment of stoppage of 5 annual increments with future effect and recovery of Rs.2,15,463/- was inflicted on 04.12.2012.

Dismissed as not pressed qua the first prayer. 5.

On asking of the Court, Mr. Animesh Sharma, Addl. Advocate General, Punjab, accepts notice on behalf of the respondent and contends that no contempt is made in the present case. 4.

A perusal of the order dated 19.11.2025, reproduced above, shows that there is no direction given by this Court. Therefore, no contempt is made out.

This Court was going to impose cost of Rs.50,000/- upon the petitioner but learned counsel for the petitioner apologised for filing such kind of petition and ensured that he will not repeat the same in future. 6.

Accordingly the present contempt petition is dismissed. 7.
