The present contempt petition has been filed for deliberate and intentional disobedience of order dated 15.01.2026 passed by the Division Bench of this Court in CWP-38688-2025, whereby following order was passed:- "Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the illegal construction has been carried out on the Government land, blocking the passage of the petitioner to her shop.

Issue notice to the respondents.

Mr. Deepak Bhardwaj, Advocate accepts notice on behalf of the respondents-HSVP and upon instructions from Davinder Singh, EO HSVP, Panipat submits that the action has been initiated against the illegal construction VIRENDRA SINGH ADHIKARI 2026.05.23 14:18 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

In view of the above statement, the grievance of the petitioner appears to have been substantially redressed and therefore, the petition stands disposed of. 6.

In compliance of the order dated 15.01.2026 passed by the Division Bench of this Court in CWP-38688-2025, learned counsel for the respondent submits that show cause notices have already been issued to the illegal encroachers. He has produced copies of the said show cause notices in Court, which are taken on record. Copies thereof have been given to the learned counsel for the petitioners.

In view of the above, since order dated 15.01.2026 passed by the Division Bench of this Court in CWP-38688-2025, has been complied with, therefore, the present contempt is purged and rule stands discharged. 4.
