(Oral) The present petition has been filed under Section 528 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, for setting aside/quashing the impugned order dated 07.04.2026 (Annexure P-5) passed by learned Additional Sessions Judge, Rupnagar, whereby the revision petition preferred by respondent No.3 against the order dated 12.03.2026 (Annexure P-3) passed by trial Court in case arising out of FIR No.64 dated 16.05.2025, under Sections 115(2), 117(2), 351(2), 191(3), 190 & 125 BNS 2023, registered at Police Station Sri Chamkaur Sahib, District Rupnagar, has been allowed.

Status report by way of affidavit of Manjit Singh Aulakh, PPS, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Sri Chamkaur Sabhib, District Rupnagar, filed on behalf of respondents No.1 and 2, is taken on reocrd. 3.

At the outset, counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that he would be satisfied in case directions in terms of judgment dated 13.09.2023 in CWP-19314-2020 titled as "Balwinder Singh versus UOI and others" passed by a Co-ordinate Bench of this Court is also issued in the present case.
