**** JAISHREE THAKUR, J. (ORAL) This is a petition that has been filed under Section 438 Cr.P.C. for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in case FIR No. 445 dated 26.10.2017 under Sections 376, 120-B, 506 IPC, registered at Police Station Sadar Sonipat, District Sonipat.
Learned counsel for the petitioner contends that during the pendency of the proceedings the matter stands compromised. He further submits that the petitioner has joined the investigation. Learned counsel for the respondent-State, on instructions from ASI Usha Sharma, confirms the factum of joining the investigation by the petitioner and the compromise. He further submits that the department is in the process of filing a cancellation report.
