Tribhuvan Dahiya, J (Oral) This petition has been filed, inter-alia, seeking promotion of the petitioners, who are working as Headmasters, as Principal against the 20% quota of posts meant for them, as per Haryana State Education School Cadre (Group-B) Service (Amendment) Rules, 2014, as amended vide Notification dated 12.09.2014 (Annexure P-14). 2.

Mr. Sanjeev Kaushik, Additional Advocate General, Haryana, appearing on advance notice, has on the basis of a communication dated 15.05.2023 submitted that the department has already invited data for promotion to the posts of Principal from PGTs (as on 08.07.2019) and Headmasters (as on 01.06.2022) from seniority Nos.4451 to 5525 from PGTs and Nos.331 to 739 from Headmasters. The cases of eligible Headmasters for promotion against the quota of posts meant for them are AVIN KUMAR 2023.07.05 18:01 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this order/judgment

2023:PHHC:083970 CWP No.10419 of 2023 [2] accordingly being considered. He has further stated that the petitioners are at seniority Nos.517 and 612, respectively, and their cases for promotion as Principal will also be considered on their turn. 3.

The statement made by learned State counsel substantially answers the grievances raised by the petitioner in the instant petition. However, in case they are still aggrieved, they will be at liberty to move appropriate representation to the official respondents which shall be considered and decided by passing a speaking order expeditiously, in accordance with law.
