CRA-S-1880-2024 The appellant prays for grant of anticipatory bail in case of FIR No. 38 dated 6.4.2024, registered under Section 3(1)(v) of Scheduled Castes and the Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989, at P.S. Cantt. Jalandhar.

This Court vide order dated 10.05.2024, while issuing notice of motion, granted the concession of interim bail to the appellant, subject to his joining the investigation.

Learned State counsel does not controvert the said fact and further submits that custodial interrogation of the appellant is not required. 5.
