**** HARPREET SINGH BRAR, J. (ORAL) This petition has been filed under Section 438 Cr.P.C. seeking anticipatory bail in a case bearing FIR No.24 dated 03.03.2023 (Annexure P-1) under Sections 363 and 366-A of IPC registered at Police Station Basti Bawa Khel, Jalandhar.

On 12.07.2023, the following order was passed:- "Status report dated 12.07.2023 by way of affidavit of Gagandeep Singh, PPS, Assistant Commissioner of Police, West, Jalandhar has been filed in the Court. The same is taken on record. Copy thereof supplied to the counsel opposite, who seeks time to go through the same and make submissions. Adjourned to 04.08.2023.

In the meantime, the petitioner is directed to appear before the SHO/Investigating Officer to join and cooperate in the investigation."
