The present petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of writ in the nature of mandamus directing respondents No. 1 to 3 to protect the life and liberty of the petitioners at the hands private respondents. 2.
The parties are present in the Court today and have submitted that they are not in contact with their counsel and as regards the order dated 16.05.2023, the petitioner No. 2 has very fairly submitted that he could only deposit a sum of Rs. 50,000/- in the shape of an FDR and he could not arrange more money, as both the petitioners went on a family way. The petitioners have been blessed with a baby and on that account, the said FDR was withdrawn and money has been used. The petitioners are leading a happily married life and hence, prays that the condition imposed in the order dated 16.05.2023 be reconsidered.

After hearing the petitioners, the present petition stands disposed of by waiving off the condition to deposit a sum of Rs. 1,00,000/- in the shape of an FDR in the name of petitioner No. 1-Priya Rani. 4.
It is made clear that filing or pendency of this petition or any order/direction passed in this petition shall not be an alibi or defence to the petitioners, in case, they are found involved in any illegal activity and the respondent-Authorities shall take appropriate action, in accordance with law.
