(ORAL): The petition has been filed, inter alia, seeking a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to grant the petitioners prescribed wage rates as per Clause IV of the notification dated 19.1.2022, Annexure P-4, by placing them in the appropriate slab of experience, i.e., 5-10 years in Districts of Category-II, Level-I posts, with effect from the date the petitioners have completed five years experience alongwith all consequential benefits.

Learned counsel for the petitioners contends that at this stage, the petitioners will be satisfied in case their pending representation dated 18.1.2024, Annexure P-10, is considered and decided by the respondents in the light of recommendations dated 25.10.2023, Annexure P-9. 3.

In view thereof, without going into the merits of the case, the petition is disposed of with a direction to second respondent/ Superintending Engineer, Ambala Circle, Public Health Engineering Department, to consider and decide the petitioners'
pending representation dated 18.1.2024, within a period of three months from the date of receiving a certified copy of this order. 6.
